Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating
Solves the Most Unique HVAC Challenges
Working with residents in the Northern Virginia area for a decade, long ago we decided to align with Mitsubishi Electric and pursue the Diamond Contractor Elite certification. Why? Because we’ve found Mitsubishi products to be unrivaled in the industry for quality, reliability and flexibility. Mitsubishi Electric effectively solves occupant comfort, design, and energy efficiency challenges for commercial and residential applications across the United States.

A year and a half ago, the Zangs moved into their new house in Leesburg, Virginia, knowing its HVAC system was outdated.
They also knew about split-ductless technology, and appreciated its ability to zone and provide clean, healthy air. “The house was built in 1972 and the main heat was baseboard electric heat – and kind of a hodgepodge of companies. We had thermostats from three or four different brands. And the electric baseboards were just killing the electric bill even though we kept the house at 58 degrees in the winter,” said Mr. Zang.
The Sixth St. Passive House is 3,168 square feet of innovation. The stringent passive house criteria focus on preventing air leakage. The house is so well-insulated that the owners can spend most winter days comfortably inside without the heat on. The electronics and occupants produce most of the needed heat but not all of it. That’s where Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating Division comes in.
This new home project, finished in January 2020, is a 6,428-square-foot high-performance home overlooking the Las Vegas Strip. Its 10 comfort zones are efficiently heated and cooled by Mitsubishi Electric Zoned Comfort Solutions®. The Mitsubishi Electric units offer whisper-quiet sound levels, simplified maintenance and tasteful design appeal, perfectly complementing the home’s luxurious aesthetics.
